Second part of Beatrice Blue's childhood week prompt list!
The third day was •Nasty• I had a bit of trouble with this one, considering all of the different meanings this word can have, and at the end I went with: A Nasty mood after some nasty tricks. My son proudly posed for this one and gave some suggestions about the style.

The next day came •Pearl• and this one was easier since I have a very distinctive memory about pearls.
My mom had a pearl necklace, probably fake pearls, that I found incredibly beautiful when I was a kid. To my eyes, she looked like the most elegant and beautiful woman when she wore it next to her black curls. Of course, I was forbidden to take it, and of course, I took it in secret one day when she was at work. I didn’t play with it for long when my sticky hands managed to break it, and a hundred pearls spread all over the place. Now it looks to me like such a classic kid-moment, but back then, it was pretty much the end of the world; I was dead.
I drew my mom just from memory, and after I published it, she found a picture where she was wearing the dress and the necklace I remembered. I'm pretty sure I nailed it :)
