Days 6 and 7 of the Childhood week 2025
•Chest• & •Fairy•
The idea of "chest" is loaded with a little magic in my mind, so while I was making it, and it took longer because I really wanted to play with those lights, I started populating that chest, imagining how it came to be in that corner and what happens to it now. That is how the connection to the last day came to be.
the Forest edge Fairies are a small group that moves around the meadow every few years, so instead of building big structures like their deep forest counterparts, they find little caves, tree holes or a forgotten chest a forager with scientific curiosity left after realising she was late to a party.
Grandma fairy has been coming back to this home for years and today, her grandchildren are visiting.
Grandma prepared a cookie for them, but Rosita let the intrusive thoughts win - she’s decided to not wait a second more for that cookie. (as everyone knows, a fairy does not have a lot of head space for more than one thought, so the intrusive ones do tend to win)
